Today, on September 30, a grand "Safai Mitra Safety and Honor Camp" was organized by the Korba Municipal Corporation, attended by Municipal Commissioner Mr. Ashutosh Pandey along with corporation officials and staff. Honor and Recognition:** Guardians of cleanliness—including cleanliness advocates, *Safai Mitras*, and *Swachhata Didis*—were honored on stage in recognition of their contributions. •Webcast of National Program:** The national program organized by the Government of India was broadcast live via LED screens. •Safety PPE Kit Distribution:** To ensure their safety, PPE kits were distributed to 35 *Swachhata Didis* and 35 *Safai Mitras*. • Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana:** Ten *Swachhata Didis* were provided with documentation/allotment details under the 'Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana' for their dream homes. • Insurance Coverage:** Over 200 individuals were enrolled in the 'Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana' and 'Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana'. • Ayushman Bharat Yojana:** 'Ayushman Cards' were issued to 20 individuals to facilitate free and quality medical treatment. • Free Health Camp:** A special health camp was organized for over 300 *Safai Mitras* to conduct comprehensive health check-ups. • Safety Dialogue and Awareness:** Guidance was provided to all *Safai Mitras* and *Swachhata Didis* regarding safe working practices, the correct use of PPE kits, and occupational safety. • Exhibition of PPE Kits and Safety Equipment:** A special display of PPE kits and safety gear was arranged with the aim of making sanitation work safer and more modern. An exhibition of kits (Personal Protective Equipment) and safety gear was organized. The primary objective of this exhibition was to provide 'Mitras' (friends/associates) and 'Swatantrata Mitras' working on the front lines with live information and training regarding the modern safety equipment used during their daily tasks.
